American Family Advantage is a DBA (doing business as) of NEU Holdings Inc. American Family Advantage, NEU Holdings Inc., and our subsidiaries and affiliates ("American Family Advantage," "we," "our," or "us") provide life insurance information, financial education, and related products and services. Our customers, employees, and business partners provide personal information to American Family Advantage every day. They rely on us to protect that information, as well as to respect their privacy. As part of our commitment to meeting these expectations and to transparency, this Privacy Policy describes our collection and handling of personal information.

This Privacy Policy describes how American Family Advantage processes personal information that we collect through our digital or online properties or services that link to this Privacy Policy, including as applicable, our websites, landing pages hosted on the Tractionify platform, mobile applications, and social media pages (collectively, the "Service") as well as our marketing activities, live events, and other activities described in this Privacy Policy.

American Family Advantage may provide additional or supplemental privacy policies to individuals for specific products or services that we offer at the time we collect personal information. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between this Privacy Policy and any supplemental Consumer Privacy Notice, the Consumer Privacy Notice shall control to the extent of any such conflict.

Personal information you may provide to us through the Service or otherwise includes:

Financial data, including credit report information, credit-based insurance scores, bank account and routing numbers, transaction information, financial account information, payment card numbers, household income data, tax documents, insurance policy number(s), existing or past life insurance coverage, source of wealth information, net worth, and other financial information.

Government-issued identification data, including Social Security number, tax-identification number, passport number, state or local identification number, and copies of relevant government-issued identifications.

Inferential data, including inferences drawn regarding, or a profile reflecting, your preferences, characteristics, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, creditworthiness, and insurability profile.

Third-party sources

We may combine personal information we receive from you with personal information that we obtain from other sources, such as affiliates, publicly-available sources, consumer reporting agencies, healthcare services, data providers, service partners (such as insurance agents, brokerages, carriers, and referral partners), business and marketing providers, customers, service providers, business transaction partners, and third-party services that you use to log into or otherwise link to your Service account.

Platform data collection

Our website and landing pages are hosted on the Tractionify platform. When you interact with our Service through Tractionify, certain data may be collected by the platform on our behalf, including form submissions, contact information, scheduling data, chat and SMS interactions, and behavioral tracking data such as page views and click activity. This data is processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and is used to deliver, personalize, and improve our Service.

Automatic data collection

We, our service providers, our platform provider (Tractionify), and our business partners may automatically log information about you, your computer or mobile device, and your interaction over time with the Service, including:

Device data, such as your operating system type and version, browser type, screen resolution, IP address, unique identifiers, language settings, mobile device carrier, and general location information.

Online activity data, such as pages or screens you viewed, how long you spent on a page, the website you visited before browsing to the Service, navigation paths, access times, and whether you have opened our emails or clicked links within them.

Communication interaction data, such as your interactions with our email, text, SMS, or other communications sent through the Tractionify platform or other communication tools.

Analytics and improvement. We may use your personal information to analyze and improve the Service and to develop new products and services. We may process your personal information through our own or third-party artificial intelligence ("AI") tools, including AI-powered chatbots and lead qualification systems, and may use your personal information to improve automated communication workflows.

Marketing and advertising. We, our service providers, insurance agents with whom we partner, and our third-party advertising partners may collect, receive, and use your personal information for marketing and advertising purposes, including to send you marketing communications via email, SMS, phone, and social media. You may opt out of our marketing communications as described in the Opt-out of marketing section below.

Data collected through the Tractionify platform is retained in accordance with our data management practices and applicable law. We may share your personal information with the following parties and as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy:

Affiliates. We may share personal information with NEU Holdings Inc. and other members of the American Family Advantage family of companies and DBAs.

Platform provider. Personal information collected through our website and landing pages may be processed by Tractionify, our platform provider, in order to deliver and operate the Service.

Service providers. Third parties that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the Service or our business, including hosting, analytics, communication, and customer relationship management providers.

Payment processors. Any payment card information you use to make a purchase on the Service is collected and processed directly by our payment processors.

Consumer reporting agencies. We may share personal information with consumer reporting agencies.

Healthcare services, such as healthcare providers and medical institutions as needed to analyze and/or verify insurance coverage or benefits.

Service and marketing partners, such as insurance agents, brokerages, carriers (including Mutual of Omaha, Americo, F&G, Ethos, and others), insurance producers, referral partners, and marketing partners.

Advertising partners. Third-party advertising companies for interest-based advertising purposes, including on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Google, and TikTok.

Third parties designated by you. We may share your personal information with third parties where you have instructed us or provided your consent to do so.

Analytics and machine learning providers. We may share certain personal information with third-party analytics and AI/machine learning platforms.

Professional advisors. Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, bankers, and insurers.

Authorities and others. Law enforcement, government authorities, and private parties, as we believe in good faith to be necessary or appropriate.

Delete your content or close your account. You can choose to delete certain content through your account. If you wish to request to close your account or have your data removed from the Tractionify platform, please contact us.

The Service may contain links to websites, mobile applications, and other online services operated by third parties. These links are not an endorsement of, or representation that we are affiliated with, any third party. We do not control third-party websites and are not responsible for their actions. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of the other websites and online services you use.

9. Security

We employ reasonable technical, organizational, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect. Our platform provider, Tractionify, also maintains security measures to protect data processed through their systems. However, security risk is inherent in all internet and information technologies. We cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.

10. International Data Transfer

We are headquartered in the United States and may use service providers that operate in other countries. Your personal information may be transferred to the United States or other locations where privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your state, province, or country.

The Service is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age. We will comply with applicable legal requirements to delete the information.

Correction. You may ask us to correct inaccurate personal information we have collected about you.

Nondiscrimination. You may exercise the rights described above free from discrimination as prohibited by the CCPA.
